Saatvik Green Energy Bags Major ₹171.45 Crore Solar Module Order from Domestic Independent Power Producer

New Delhi, India: Saatvik Green Energy Limited has announced securing a significant solar module supply order worth ₹171.45 crore from a domestic independent power producer (IPP). The order further strengthens the company’s position in India’s rapidly expanding utility-scale solar energy market.

Under the agreement, Saatvik Green Energy will supply advanced TOPCon Bifacial Glass-Glass Solar PV Modules, one of the latest-generation solar technologies designed to deliver superior efficiency, durability, and long-term performance for large-scale solar projects.

Advanced TOPCon Bifacial Solar Modules to Power Utility-Scale Project

The supplied modules feature TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) bifacial technology, which enables power generation from both the front and rear sides of the panel. This significantly increases energy yield compared to conventional mono-facial solar modules.

Additionally, the modules are built with glass on both sides instead of traditional polymer backsheets, offering enhanced durability, improved weather resistance, and longer operational life. These features make them highly suitable for large open-ground solar farms operating under challenging environmental conditions.

The project marks another milestone for Saatvik Green Energy as demand for high-efficiency, domestically manufactured solar modules continues to rise across India.

Saatvik Green Energy CEO Highlights Industry Trust

Commenting on the development, Mr. Prashant Mathur, CEO, Saatvik Green Energy Limited, said:

“This order is a strong reflection of the trust that leading project developers place in Saatvik’s manufacturing capabilities and product quality. Being selected to supply modules for a domestic independent power producer of this magnitude at one of India’s most important solar sites is a meaningful endorsement of what we have built.”

He further added:

“We remain committed to delivering on time and to the highest standards, as India accelerates towards its 500 GW clean energy target.”

Growing Demand for Domestic Solar Module Manufacturers in India

The latest order significantly strengthens Saatvik Green Energy’s growing order book and reinforces its position as a preferred domestic supplier in the utility-scale solar segment.

The development also reflects a broader trend in India’s renewable energy industry, where project developers and EPC companies are increasingly prioritizing locally manufactured solar PV modules over imports. Factors driving this shift include:

  • Improved supply chain reliability
  • Stronger after-sales service support
  • Compliance with government regulations
  • Alignment with the Government of India’s “Make in India” initiative

As India continues its aggressive push toward renewable energy expansion and aims to achieve its 500 GW non-fossil fuel energy capacity target, domestic manufacturers like Saatvik Green Energy are expected to play a critical role in supporting the country’s clean energy transition.

Saatvik Green Energy Positioned for Future Growth

With an expanding manufacturing footprint and continued investments in next-generation solar technologies, Saatvik Green Energy is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for high-performance solar modules in India and global markets.

The company’s focus on innovation, quality manufacturing, and timely execution continues to strengthen its reputation in the renewable energy sector, especially in the rapidly growing utility-scale solar market.
